The NCPN serves to provide guidance for the proper use of plant names with special reference to scientific names. The new version has incorporated the updates of the latest International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plant (Shenzhen Code) and the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants (9th edition).
